So I'm sure if you've written at least twice that you've encountered writers block. It's very troublesome and it can hinder your output (god I know) but I was never really told how to overcome it. I looked it up, I asked around, I even asked my teachers but nothing worked for me. I came up with my own strategy:

Option 1

Think of an opening line. Anything, it could be wild and wacky but I find that once I've got the first line or two down I'm now able to write all of my ideas down. Assignments for class, easy, writing a story, instantly better, even personalized notes are a breeze.

Option 2

Plan, and plan hard. It may be echoed by many but I feel that few really think about it and use it. You have writers block because you can't put your ideas down, so just put all of them on paper or a word document. Then, and only then, will you organize them into a acceptable plan.

Option 3

Lay in bed. At first it may seem kinda weird but hear me out. Calming down and letting the stress seep out will allow you to come back to your piece later with a fresh mind. When the mind has jut rested it will think better, faster, and with less blockage. I even recommend getting a sleeping mask to keep distractions out.

Option 4

Look for inspiration. Cliche, I know, but think about it. What's your favorite book, and now think about what made it good. Was it a character, a setting, maybe even a concept. All of these can be changed to fit your story so you can write what you love without all of the hassle.

Option 5

Just write. Writers block stop you from writing, right? What if you could just write anyway? Well you can. Nothing is stopping you from writing except yourself. You think that you don't have good ideas or that you can't write your ideas down, but you most certainly can. Try it I think that you will b writing in no time
